雞寶別名雞黃在民間俗稱雞寶，是從雞體內(nèi)取出的雞結(jié)石。雞寶是一種黃黃的硬硬的，有一層膜有的還帶有血絲。雞黃完整者多呈卵形，外貌金黃至黃褐色，細(xì)膩而有光澤。雞寶是一種名貴緊缺中藥材，其形成時間較長，而雞的飼養(yǎng)期又很短，所以很少能在雞體內(nèi)發(fā)現(xiàn)，但也有偶爾可見的。雞寶是雞的膽囊結(jié)石，完整者多呈卵形，質(zhì)輕，外貌金黃至黃褐色，細(xì)膩而有光澤，雞寶也是母雞在產(chǎn)卵期間，卵巢部位發(fā)炎，輸卵管堵塞，由多個卵黃聚集在一起形成的。
